Sometimes the wait at checkout is longer than it should be. Always double check the expiration, there have been some products that were expired but not taken off of the shelves, but overall not a bad experience.
As far as Wal-Mart's go in Minnesota this one is very good. While true they could have more cashiers on staff, they have many self check-outs to use and they go pretty quick. This site has lots of good deals on its very wide selection of poplar items.
Staff was friendly. Did however have a small issue. I had some money sent via Moneygram from Florida, my friends mother sent us $3000 which wasn't an issue on her end, but turned out to be an issue at the Wal-Mart in Blaine. They have a receiving limit of only $1500 per transaction which caused us some major delays. Thanks to a great manager and one friendly woman who worked in customer service we got the transaction reversed and we were able to get our situation figured out.
Not enough cashiers - ever. They can't/don't count out change...but shove it in your hand. And the self check outs??? "Unexpected item in bag" which locks out the check out...when items have been properly scanned. I would rather pay more elsewhere than waste my time and patience here.
Definitely one of the better Wal-Mart's.
Okay. Wal Mart. Not typically a Wal-Mart shopper. Found the if the for things I needed. They were or of fresh thyme. The gentleman that checked my out at the register was extremely helpful and handsome to boot...I did however go through self checkout so I am naturally referring to myself!
